Jesus didn’t bother about being misunderstood. He didn’t receive validation from men. Your true validation is that which comes from God; that is your true justice.

John 5:34

But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.

Can we live in such security that we don’t need the validation of man? Jesus was totally not dependent on men for validation. Nobody knows you as they should, the best opinion of men is just the opinion of men. Men move by outward appearances. Prophet Samuel was looking for the Lord’ anointed and he judged by the sons’ physique. David was the one who was forgotten by the father, he wasn’t recognized, yet he was God’s choice all along. God knows you.

Another reason why you should not receive validation from men is because men walk in the realm of time, and that realm is finite. What you are today is not what you will be tomorrow and what you are does not yet appear. When you are what you are, you are exhibiting what is of God, but people don’t know you enough to judge you. Let your security not be based on men’s validation. That people don’t appreciate or recognize you could be a point of death to self. You should not be governed from the outside but inside.

If you seek the validation of men, you would be susceptible to witchcraft, that is the manipulation of men. Jesus wasn’t flattered by what men were saying. Men who sang ‘Hosanna’ today shouted ‘crucify him’ the next day. Man is fickle.

John 12:42

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue…

Here is Jesus Christ, he showed signs and the people had a witness, yet the people were more concerned about the opinion of men than what God thinks. If you’re more concerned about what people think of you, you would play to the gallery. You will be a hypocrite. You would be an outward person. But it is the inward life that holds more weight. What you do outwardly is a reflection of your inward state.

Sometimes God would ask you to do something and we would not be able to obey until we get an approval from man. Those natures are the enmity that lies within us, making it difficult for us to see God. We must follow holiness if we must see God. We must be conscious of the need to change. Some things won’t go without the power of God and that is why Jesus came. The power of Jesus gets the job done.
