God desires to wean us from childhood. We have a responsibility to pursue after God. ‎

Don’t try to please God in your strength because you will fail. What God desires from us is a separation from the old man. You are the student; come and learn of the teacher. He calls us to learn of Him. The mistake we fall into is trying to serve God the way we know Him. The carnal mind cannot know God. There is a battle over our sight. What we should strive for is to see the Lord.

Ephesians 1:17-18 ‘That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.’

Therefore, where your treasure is, there your heart will be.

The battle of sight is the battle of ‘Gods’. It is a battle for supremacy in your heart. Satan projects himself before our gaze all the time. He is seeking to dominate our sight. If you don’t learn government in the Holy Ghost, you will fall into the flesh and be destroyed. We ought to be matured believers, training our minds to seek after the Lord. We have come to that place in our corporate journey where the Lord must be lifted always before us.

God’s desire is our conversion. Don’t struggle to change yourself, just change what you see. If you change the image that you behold, your life will change. This principle applies to every area of your life. God is focusing our eyes on the inner. The external is bankrupt it cannot offer anything. Choose

Malachi 3:3 ‘and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.’

The very experiences that we run from are the tools that God uses to change us. We are afraid of suffering; we don’t want to wait on the Lord. May we consciously and deliberately set the Lord always before us!
